The Experience

Each session starts with a consultation either in-person or via Zoom. I want to get to know you and your style so we can plan the perfect shoot for you, your child or family.  Once we make sure we're a good fit for each other we will decide on a location and time for your session. With style tips and all the details arranged ahead of time, your session time will be relaxed and fun.

How do I decide what to wear?

During the consultation we will discuss outfits and choose your location based on the style of your family. I encourage you to lay out all outfits for the family together and take a picture for me. You are welcome to bring along a change of clothes for a different look.

I am nervous/awkward in front of the camera. How can I prepare?

Don't worry about that at all. I pride myself in making the session fun and relaxed for everyone. Expect lots of laughter and no stiff poses.Encourage the kids to treat it like a fun playdate - no pressure for big cheesy grins, those are sure to come. 

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely! If you would be more relaxed with a friend, bring them along. Or, if it's a sibling session, feel free to bring a favorite aunt or babysitter. High school seniors are welcome to bring their bestie or significant other. In fact, book a session with a friend and I'll give you both a discount!

Is it possible to do a studio shoot?

Definitely. It will be an additional fee but there are multiple wonderful studios available, just let me know at the consultation.

Do you offer hair & make-up?

Yes, depending on the type of shoot you are wanting it will either be included or you can pay for the service. If you want to be pampered and look your very best then this is a great option for you.
